Who should buy Bagotte BG600

  • The Bagotte BG600 is a cheap robot vacuum cleaner that only has the absolute basic functionality like an automatic return to its charge station, timer, and object/stair sensor. This is a robot vacuum cleaner suited for those who only have one or two rooms to clean and don't need advanced functions.
  • If you are new to robot vacuums, the Bagotte BG600 might be an excellent choice for you to explore without risking a bunch of money since it is very easy to set up and has an affordable price.
  • If you have a lot of low-lying furniture, such as sofas, beds, and cabinets, the Bagotte BG600 can easily access hard-to-reach areas because of its low profile.
  • If you are on a tight budget, the Bagotte BG600 is suitable for you because it has an affordable price.
  • If you work or have babies at home – in general, you are in a place that needs to be noise-free, so the Bagotte BG600 might be suitable for you because it operates quietly at 55dB, hence it has similar noise levels to those of microwave ovens..

Who should NOT buy Bagotte BG600

  • Bagotte BG600 is built without app control and voice control. Thereby the robot can only be controlled remotely by the included remote control. If you want a robot vacuum cleaner with app control this is not the right one for you. Instead, the model Eufy RoboVac 30C might be a better choice for you.
  • The Bagotte BG600 doesn't have a mapping sensor, which makes it less suited for cleaning in multiple rooms or in a large house. Typically a robot vacuum cleaner with a mapping sensor is more expensive.
  • If you live in a large home, the Bagotte BG600 might not be suitable for you because it doesn’t have a long battery life that can clean a large home. It can only vacuum for 100 minutes and navigates randomly, so it needs more time to clean a large house.
  • If you are looking for a robot vacuum equipped with smart features such as virtual boundaries, selective room cleaning, smart mapping, and supports a mopping feature, you might want to look for other more expensive robot vacuums, such as the Roborock S6 Pure.

This is our verdict of the Bagotte BG600 based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 09-06-2021

The Bagotte BG600 has an affordable price and as a result, some smart features that can be seen in more expensive robot vacuums have been sacrificed. However, despite the lack of features, the Bagotte BG600 can still do the job well.

It has a maximum of 1500 Pa suction power which is not that impressive since most robot vacuums have a 2000Pa suction power. But it can still manage to pick up fine to large debris, which can come in handy if you have shedding pets in your home. However, you might have to clean the brush often because the rolling brush is prone to hair tangling, which lessens its ability to clean effectively.

The Bagotte BG600 cleans the room in a random pattern which is less efficient if you want to cover the whole floor. Hence, it lacks the smart mapping ability that other robot vacuums have. It bumps on furniture until it drains its battery, hoping that it cleaned the entire floor. Robot vacuums that don’t have a mapping ability like the Bagotte BG600 are more suitable for small homes because they can cover the whole floor of small areas. Even if it cleans randomly, it might be able to clean a large house, but since the Bagotte BG600 doesn’t have a long battery life, it might not have enough battery to clean the whole floor.

Since it doesn’t have a mapping ability, it also doesn’t have a laser turret seen in robot vacuums that use LIDAR navigation. It has a slim profile that can access hard-to-reach areas, such as under the bed or cabinet, wherein most dirt resides.

Another feature that the Bagotte BG600 lacks is an app and voice control. You can control it through the remote control that supports six cleaning modes: Auto, Scheduling, Spot, Edge, Single room, and Max cleaning. The cleaning schedule feature can only support a particular time of the day, so you cannot set a cleaning schedule for a day of the week. For instance, you cannot set a cleaning schedule for every Saturday and Sunday.

It includes a magnetic strip that blocks off areas that you don’t want the robot vacuum to go. It is also equipped with infrared sensors, so you won’t have to worry about the robot vacuum falling down the stairs.

Overall, the Bagotte BG600 is very simple to use and it is ideal for those who don’t like complicated smart technology. It lacks some features, but for its price, it can manage to clean areas that are hard to reach and vacuum fine to large debris.
