When we test robot vacuum cleaners we test the noise level for each robot in three suction modes: Quiet mode, Standard mode, and Max mode.

Our tests show, in general, that there is a big difference between the noise level in Standard mode compared to Max mode. However the noise level does not vary that much between Quiet mode and Standard mode.

According to our test, the quietest robot vacuum cleaner in Quiet mode is the Roborock S8 with a maximum noise level of 59.1 dB. These are the 3 quietest robot vacuum cleaners in Quiet mode:

Robot vacuum cleaner Noise level
59.1 dB
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra 59.1 dB
Ecovacs Deebot X1 OMNI 62.4 dB

The quietest robot vacuum cleaner in Max mode is the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Turbo, with a noise level of 66.2 dB.

In general, robot vacuum cleaners with a high suction power tend to be noisier than models with a lower suction power.
