Who should buy Dreametech L10 Pro

  • If you are looking for a robot vacuum that you can use on two different floor levels, the Dreametech L10 Pro might be suitable for you because it can save up to two maps.
  • If you have heavy shedding pets in your home, the Dreametech L10 Pro might be a great help, because it has one of the highest suction powers among robot vacuums: up to 4000 Pa. With this strong suction, it can easily pick up pet hair.
  • If you have hard floors and carpets in your home, and you want to mop the hard floors only, you might want to take advantage of the "no-mop" zone feature of the Dreametech L10 Pro. You can put no-mop zones on areas with rugs or carpets, so that the Dreametech L10 Pro won’t ruin them.
  • If you have noise sensitivity, or if you have babies in your home that you don't want to disturb, you might appreciate the low noise level of the Dreametech L10 Pro.
  • If you live in a large house, the Dreametech L10 Pro might suit you well. It has a large dust bin and water tank, so you won’t have to empty the dust bin and refill the water tank often.
  • If you are looking for a cordless vacuum that can efficiently avoid obstacles, such as socks, shoes, and slippers, the Dreametech L10 Pro might be the one for you.

Who should NOT buy Dreametech L10 Pro

  • If you are on a tight budget, the Dreametech L10 Pro might not be practical to buy because its advanced features make it expensive. You might want to look for the Dreametech D9, or the Eufy RoboVac 11s MAX, with fewer advanced features, but at a lower price point.
  • If you want a robot vacuum with a self-emptying dust bin, you might want to look for other, more expensive models, such as the Ecovacs Deebot N8 PRO+, or the iRobot Roomba i7+.
  • If you want a robot vacuum with a mop that can be used for heavy-duty mopping, you might want to check the Proscenic M8 PRO, that follows a Y-shaped wipe pattern which is efficient in removing stains from the floor.

This is our verdict of the Dreametech L10 Pro based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 03-09-2021

The Dreametech L10 Pro has excellent obstacle avoidance, thanks to its advanced LiDAR navigation. You’ll notice that there are three front lasers, which Dreametech calls the “High Precision 3D Sensor”. This enables the Dreametech L10 Pro to have fewer blind spots, and avoid objects better. The Dreametech L10 Pro uses a laser navigation system that works well even in the dark, unlike the Ecovacs Ozmo T8 AIVI, and the Roborock S6 MaxV, that are equipped with camera-based navigation and can’t detect objects in the dark. However, wires and cables are still a problem, because the Dreametech L10 Pro sometimes cannot recognize that they are obstacles.

Another feature that the Dreametech L10 Pro boasts is its outstanding suction power. Its maximum suction power is 4000 Pa, compared to most robot vacuums like the Roborock S5 Max, and the Eufy RoboVac 11s MAX, that have 2000 Pa. Within the app, you can control the suction level (quiet, standard, strong, and turbo) of the Dreametech L10 Pro. The quiet mode has a noise level of 57 dB, which is significantly quieter than other robot vacuums. The strong mode has a 65 dB noise level, which is also considered a low noise level since it won’t disturb conversations. However, the turbo mode has a noise level of 75 dB, which is a bit loud.

You can control the Dreametech L10 Pro through the app and voice control, such as Alexa. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a remote control like the Bagotte BG600Max, and the Eufy RoboVac 30C, which you can even control without connecting to the internet.

The advanced navigation system of the Dreametech L10 Pro allows the robot vacuum to create an accurate map, that can be seen in the app. You can see the real-time mapping in the app so that you know which areas are already cleaned, and which are not. This will also help you find your robot vacuum, you will see where it currently is. You can set virtual boundaries such as "no-go" zones and "no-mop" zones. You can also choose whether to clean a specific room only, or the entire house.

Moreover, you can indicate how many times you want the room to be cleaned. For instance, you can allow the robot vacuum to make two passes on a specific room. However, you can only instruct it to clean between one and two passes, you cannot increase it to three. Another slight disadvantage is that you can only label the rooms from the given options, and you cannot rename them the way you want. For instance, you cannot put “kitchen”, or “living room”.

The mopping function of the Dreametech L10 Pro is equipped with an electronically controlled pump, so it doesn’t leak water and it allows you to choose the water flow. However, like most robot vacuums, it cannot remove tough stains because it cannot exert pressure on the floor. So you still need to use your regular mop to remove tough stains. You can use the Dreametech L10 Pro on light stains, or keep your floor shiny and clean.

Overall, the Dreametech L10 Pro is worth its price because of the convenience it offers, and advanced features. It also has impressive suction power, and reliable obstacle avoidance.
