Roborock Q7 Max+

The Roborock Q7 Max+ is a mid-range robot vacuum, that is intended to be a more affordable alternative to the Roborock S7+. The S7+ is loved by many for its many advanced features, but not everyone can afford it. So, Roborock gave them the Q7 Max+.
The “+” in the name refers to the auto-empty bin. The Roborock Q7 Max+ comes with a docking station that serves two purposes: to recharge the robot vacuum when the battery runs low, and to automatically empty its dust bin after cleaning. The auto-empty base is highly convenient because it requires little maintenance. It is particularly beneficial for those who have dust allergies, because they will not constantly have to expose themselves to allergens by emptying the dust bin manually. Roborock recommends changing the dust bag in the docking station once every seven weeks.

Another outstanding feature of the Roborock Q7 Max+ is its impressive 4200 Pa suction power. Most robot vacuums, like the Roborock S5 Max ,and the Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid, only go up to 2000 Pa. Even the Roborock S7+, only offers 2500 Pa. The extra-strong suction power of the Q7 Max+ can easily pick up all kinds of dirt off your floors, such as pet hairs, crumbs, and fine dust.

The Q7 Max+ also has a promising mopping function equipped with spring technology that is typical of many Roborock vacuums. Instead of dragging a wet cloth over your floors, like most models, it actually applies pressure to remove the stains. However, it does not have the VibraRise feature of the Roborock S7+, which imitates a scrubbing motion for more thorough cleaning. This means that the mop of the Q7 Max+ is best suited to light cleaning, and general maintenance.
The main brush of the Roborock Q7 Max+ is made of rubber, which is great for those who have long hair and furry pets, as it prevents strands of hair from getting tangled up in the brush.

You can control the Roborock Q7 Max+ through the app, which offers many interesting features. It allows you to see the map the vacuum created with its advanced navigation system. Within the map, you can name each of the rooms in your house, and create virtual boundaries around the areas you want the vacuum to avoid. Naming each of the rooms is great for when you only want it to clean specific rooms. The app also allows you to track and supervise the robot vacuum in real-time.
