Who should buy Tesvor M1

  • If you have pets in your home that shed heavily, the Tesvor M1 might satisfy you because its suction power can reach as high as 4000 Pa; one of the highest suction powers in robot vacuums.
  • If you have carpets or rugs in your home, the Tesvor M1 might be suitable for you because it can effectively climb up medium pile carpets, and clean thoroughly, due to its high suction power.
  • If you are on a tight budget, the Tesvor M1 might be an excellent choice for you because it has a reasonable price, but is still equipped with smart features.
  • If you have a lot of low-lying furniture, such as sofas, beds, or cabinets, you might want to take advantage of the Tesvor M1's low height, which can easily clean areas that are hard to reach.

Who should NOT buy Tesvor M1

  • If you are looking for a robot vacuum where you can set virtual boundaries, and select rooms to clean on the map created, the Tesvor M1 might not be suitable for you. Instead, the Roborock S6 MaxV might interest you more since it supports virtual boundaries, and you can select the room you want to clean in its app.

Verdict

The Tesvor M1 boasts a high suction power that is mostly seen in high-end robot vacuums. At its maximum suction power, it can go as high as 4000 Pa. Nevertheless, the downside of using the robot in its maximum suction mode is that it produces a loud noise. You might also find it challenging to control, as it tries to pick up all objects; such as socks and cables. If you are sensitive to loud noises, however, the Tesvor M1 has a quiet mode, but this means decreased suction power.

The Tesvor M1 follows an S-shaped pattern when cleaning, thus it goes back and forth until it cleans the entire room. The Tesvor M1 utilizes gyroscopic navigation, which is better than robot vacuums that sweep randomly and bump into the furniture. However, it's important to note that the smart navigation of the Tesvor M1 is not the best. If you interrupt it, or pick up the robot, while it is in the middle of its cleaning session, it will restart the cleaning cycle and the map it creates will be inaccurate. Robot vacuums with LiDAR navigation are smarter because they can save the map they create, and plan a better route for the robot vacuum.

As for the Tesvor M1 vacuum, it creates a map in the app. It supports real-time mapping, and you can supervise the areas that it has cleaned by the map it makes. Nevertheless, it doesn't save the map that is created, and doesn't show a cleaning history. Thus, the map it creates doesn't do much, and is useful mostly for viewing.

You can control the Tesvor M1 through the designated app, remote control, or voice control. The app allows you to adjust the suction power (quiet, normal, strong, max), set a cleaning schedule, and select a cleaning mode (smart clean, spot clean, edge clean, and manual control). The remote control is also ideal to use if you have other family members, so they can operate the robot if you are not at home. The Tesvor M1 also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for basic commands, such as on and off.

The battery life of the Tesvor M1 is adequate; it can run for 150 minutes in quiet mode. When in maximum mode, it can operate for 80 minutes. The robot vacuum will return to its charging station when the battery is low, even in the midst of cleaning. However, unlike other robot vacuums with "recharge and resume" features, the Tesvor M1 will not resume to where it left off once it's done charging. Instead, it will restart and create a new cycle.

Overall, the Tesvor M1 is efficient in vacuuming, thanks to its high suction power. It can also support a mopping function, but you have to buy it separately. This robot vacuum is worth the price because of its high suction power, which is rare for a robot vacuum with a budget price like the Tesvor M1's.

Description caret-up caret-down

Tesvor M1If you’re looking for a hassle-free cleaning that will let you set schedules, manage your robot through an app or possibly let you operate it through voice control, you might want to check out the Tesvor M1.
It is armed with a maximum run-time of 150 minutes and can both sweep and mop your floors. With a power suction of 4,000 Pa, this vacuum robot removes everything in its path—dust, dirt, crumbs, pet hair, and more—making sure that no mess is left behind.

Battery

The Tesvor M1 comes with a Li-ion battery that has a battery capacity of 5,200 mAh. It can do its cleaning straight for 150 minutes, while it takes approximately 6 hours to recharge. Once the robot’s battery is low or it is done with its cleaning task, it will automatically return to its dock to recharge so that it will be ready for the next cleaning.

Cleaning

When it comes to cleaning, the Tesvor M1 has a cleaning area of 1,593 square feet. Its suction power is 4,000 Pa.

There are four cleaning modes that you can easily adjust through the app: night mode (quiet), normal, high performance, and maximum power. In the “night (quiet)” mode, the robot can run for 150 minutes, while in “normal” mode, it can run for up to 120 minutes.

The Tesvor M1 comes with a barrier-cross height of 0. 59 inches. From hard floors to tiles and medium to high carpets, the robot can easily navigate its way around your place. It will clean its way around your home so that no dust, dirt, or debris gets left behind.

It has a dustbin capacity of over 20 oz and a HEPA filter that is helpful for households where some people might have allergies or asthma.

After sweeping and vacuuming, you can have the robot mop up your floor. It has a water tank capacity of a little less than 12 oz.

Functions

When the robot’s battery is low, it will automatically dock and recharge until it gets to 100%. You also have the ability to schedule the robot’s cleaning through its app or remote control.

If you have a smart home and want to integrate the robot into your system, you can do so with the help of Amazon Alexa or Google Home. This allows you to give the robot voice commands so that you can operate it hands-free for a quicker, more efficient cleaning time.

App

Through the app (compatible with both Android and iOS), it’s easy for you to track the robot in real time. You can also customize or set cleaning schedules and monitor all cleaning sessions. You can also use the app to select and switch between the four cleaning modes that the robot has. The app also lets you see if the dustbin is already full and needs to be dumped before the robot can clean again.

Navigation

The Tesvor M1 has a gyroscope mapping sensor. When cleaning your place, it will scan the room and create the most efficient cleaning pattern. It cleans in an s-shaped path to avoid missed spots.

It also comes with a cliff sensor that can easily detect ledges and stairs so you don’t have to worry about it falling off and getting damaged. It also has anti-collision sensors that will protect your furniture from getting scratched.

If you need to stop your robot from entering a room, or you need it to clean only a certain spot, you can use the magnetic tape which will serve as boundary markers for your robot.

Attachments

This product comes with a remote control to help you manually start, stop, and control the robot.

It does the job.
I have had it for six months. I have had issues with the app more than the vacuum. App is a pain to connect. However, the vacuum does a good job at picking up. Except it acts as a battlefield tank. Doesn’t care what is in its path. Tries to go everywhere. The thickness is also a plus because it cleans under the cupboards and beds. I run when I am not at home. So sound doesn’t matter to me.

Drives me Nuts!
This vacuum gets stuck going from My hardwood floor to my cowhide rug… that isn’t even 1/8”. It will not go from my floor to my chair Matt, that is 1/4” either. The remote is very limited. It’s very loud, and even louder if on max suction. It DOES have powerful Suction, but I have to constantly babysit it, it whimpers at the smallest obstacle. It will Go to the charger, but moves off the connection once fully charged, then quickly looses battery charge. So the next time I’m ready to use it, it is already dead. ANNOYING!!
