Who should buy Dreametech D9 Max

  • The Dreametech D9 Max is great for those who live in a multi-level house, because it can create a different map for every floor.
  • If you have carpets, you will appreciate the high suction power of the Dreametech D9 Max, that has a maximum level of 4000 Pa. It can thoroughly clean your carpets, and pick up deeply embedded dirt.
  • The Dreametech D9 Max has a large dust bin, which is great for those who live in a large house that tends to accumulate a lot of dirt. The extra space means that you won’t have to keep emptying it out while cleaning.

Who should NOT buy Dreametech D9 Max

  • If you are on a tight budget, you might find the Dreametech D9 Max too expensive. Instead, you could consider more affordable robot vacuums, that still offer great results, like the Tesvor X500, or the Bagotte BG750.

Verdict

The Dreametech D9 Max is an impressive robot vacuum that offers excellent results. It is more expensive than other vacuums, but it is also equipped with one of the strongest suction powers of up to 4000 Pa.

The strong suction power allows it to thoroughly clean carpets, picking up even the dirt that is deeply embedded. This feature is also great for those who have pets at home that tend to shed heavily. The suction power is an upgrade from the previous model, the Dreametech D9, that only has 3000 Pa.

The Dreametech D9 Max has a large 0.57L dust bin. Even with the strong suction power, you won’t have to worry about it filling up too quickly and having to empty it out while cleaning.
The Dreametech D9 Max can vacuum and mop at the same time, which allows it to save time and energy. Its water tank is equipped with an electrical pump that allows you to control the flow of water. That way, it won’t create a pool of water because of unnecessary water leaks. However, the water tank has a capacity of only 0.27L, unlike the Tesvor M1, that offers 0.35L. So, if you intend to use the mopping function for your whole floor, you might have to refill the water tank.

The Dreametech D9 Max has a smart navigation system that allows it to thoroughly clean your house, without missing a spot. It also creates an accurate map that you can find in the app. The map helps the robot vacuum identify its current location, as well as the areas it has and hasn’t cleaned yet. It also allows you to customize the map by naming the rooms, creating virtual boundaries, and selecting specific rooms to clean. It can save multiple maps, so you can use the Dreametech D9 Max on every floor. When you move it to a different floor, it will recognize its location and use the appropriate map.

One downside of the Dreametech D9 Max is its battery life. Although 150 minutes is a reasonable length for the average house, it is not enough considering the price of the robot vacuum. By comparison, the Roborock S6 Pure, and the Roborock S4 Max, can last up to 180 minutes.

Overall, there is not much to complain about with the Dreametech D9 Max. It comes with plenty of great features, has the 4000 Pa suction power and 0.57L dust bin, both of which are impressive. It is a robot vacuum that is definitely worth the purchase.
