Who should buy Tesvor X500 Pro

  • If you were impressed with the Tesvor X500, but you want stronger suction power with an included mopping attachment, the Tesvor X500 Pro might be the one you are looking for.
  • If you have noise sensitivity, the Tesvor X500 Pro might be suitable for you because it operates at a low noise level, and it doesn’t cause any disturbances.
  • If you have a lot of low-lying furniture, the Tesvor X500 Pro might suit you well because it has a low height. Hence, it can easily clean under the sofas, cabinets, beds, or other hard-to-reach areas.
  • If you are on a tight budget, but are looking for a robot vacuum that can vacuum and mop well, the Tesvor X500 Pro might be the one for you.

Who should NOT buy Tesvor X500 Pro

  • If you prefer robot vacuums with an advanced mapping capability, that can save the map they create and allow you to create virtual "no-go" zones and cleaning areas, you might be more interested in the Tesvor S6, which is equipped with a LiDAR navigation.

Verdict

The Tesvor X500 Pro is a budget robot vacuum, and an upgraded version of the older model, the Tesvor X500. It has a stronger suction power compared to the Tesvor X500, but still retains its low noise level. It can go as high as 1800 Pa, allowing the robot to pick up fine to large debris easily.

It utilizes a gyroscopic navigation system, and it can create a map of the cleaning path it just took, but will not save it. So, within the app, it will create a new map for every cleaning cycle to show you where it went. However, compared to robot vacuums that utilize LiDAR navigation, the Tesvor X500 Pro's map might not perfectly resemble the floor of your house.

If you have areas that you don’t want the robot vacuum to go to, you might want to purchase the magnetic strip (which is sold separately), to serve as a boundary and prevent the Tesvor X500 Pro from going to restricted areas.

The Tesvor X500 Pro utilizes a pre-programmed cleaning pattern, wherein it will follow an S pattern to reach every spot on your floor. Its cleaning pattern is better than other robot vacuums that clean randomly, since the Tesvor X500 Pro rarely leaves an area uncleaned.

Unlike the Tesvor X500, the Tesvor X500 Pro comes with a water tank inside the box. The Tesvor X500 Pro has an electronically controlled water tank that allows you to adjust the water flow in the app, depending on your floor type. However, it cannot remove tough stains because the Tesvor X500 Pro cannot exert enough pressure on the floor, which is a common problem of hybrid robot vacuums and mops. So, you still need to use your regular stick mop from time to time, and then use the Tesvor X500 Pro’s mopping option for maintenance.

You can control the Tesvor X500 Pro via remote control, app, or voice control. However, you might experience difficulty in pairing the Tesvor X500 Pro with Alexa. The app is better than the remote control function since it provides extra features, such as viewing real-time mapping. However, if you prefer simplicity, then the remote control is also fine.

Overall, the Tesvor X500 Pro might have a low price, but it offers various features resulting in excellent cleaning performance.
