Who should buy Roborock H7

  • Those who have dust allergies will appreciate the dust bag of the Roborock H7, which decreases their exposure to allergens when emptying the dust bin.
  • The Roborock H7 automatically increases its suction power on carpets, making it a great device for those with different types of floors.
  • With a maximum battery life of 90 minutes on its lowest setting, the Roborock H7 is an excellent choice for those who live in average-sized, and even large houses.
  • The Roborock H7 has a mini motorized brush to clean the pet hairs that get stuck to your couch, bed, pillows, car seats, and other surfaces.

Who should NOT buy Roborock H7

  • If you live in a large house with fully carpeted floors, the Roborock H7 might not be a great choice. Because it does not let you to turn off the automatic carpet detection feature, it will constantly be using turbo mode to vacuum your floors, this will drain its battery before it has a chance to clean your whole house. The Tineco PURE ONE S12, might be a better choice because it comes with two detachable batteries to double its running time, or the Philips XC8347/01, which has a long battery life on turbo mode.

This is our verdict of the Roborock H7 based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 10-06-2022

The Roborock H7 is a high-end vacuum cleaner, equipped with a host of incredible features. It has a longer battery life than its competitors, and is equipped with smart functions such as magnetic accessories and optional dust bags.

The H7 comes with four cleaning nozzles - the crevice tool, dusting brush, motorized mini-brush, and multi-surface brush. The multi-surface brush has built-in motor-driven nylon bristles, that can reach down to the roots of your carpet and pick up the dirt that is embedded there. It works well on most short and medium-pile carpets as well as hard surfaces. The motorized mini-brush is a great tool for pet owners, because it picks up the hairs and other crumbs that get stuck to the couch, bed, and car seats. The dusting brush is suitable for cleaning delicate objects, like tables and keyboards. The crevice tool is designed to clean corners and hard-to-reach areas because it has an elongated and slim nozzle.

These cleaning nozzles are equipped with MagSafe magnets to stick to the charging dock, which gives plenty of storage space. Since the cleaning accessories are magnetic, you can also temporarily stick them to the refrigerator or other magnetic surfaces while cleaning. This feature can be handy when cleaning, because it allows you to keep the cleaning nozzles within your reach.

Like most cordless vacuum cleaners, the Roborock H7 is bagless, meaning you can empty the dust bin after every use. However, unlike other models, it also comes with two disposable antimicrobial bags. The dust bag is a great option for those who have dust allergies. However, the downside of the dust bag is that it is a recurring cost that you have to purchase whenever it fills up.

The Roborock H7 has an LCD display that shows all the relevant information about the cordless vacuum cleaner, such as the power mode, and the live battery life reading in minutes. The H7 has three power settings: eco, standard, and turbo. Eco mode is the lowest setting, but has the longest battery life and lowest noise level. Standard mode lasts for 30 minutes, and can be used for everyday cleaning. Turbo mode is the highest setting that is great on carpets and stubborn dirt, but has the shortest battery life of up to 10 minutes.

Aside from the three suction modes, the Roborock H7 can also automatically adjust the suction power to the type of floor. It automatically increases the power when it detects a carpet. While this feature is very convenient for those who have a mix of carpets and hard floors, there is no way of deactivating this feature. So, if you have a lot of carpets, it will constantly run on turbo mode, and drain the battery much faster than you might expect.
Overall, with its mid-range price and high-end power, the Roborock H7 is a convenient device that is definitely worth the purchase.
