Who should buy Robit R3000

  • If you have both carpets and hard floors, the Robit R3000 is an excellent choice. It is equipped with the BoostIQ feature that automatically increases its suction power when it encounters carpets.
  • If you have a lot of low-lying furniture, you will appreciate the Robit R3000's low height that allows it to clean under the sofa, bed and other hard-to-reach areas without getting stuck.
  • If you are on a budget, the Robit R3000 is a great choice. It offers 2500 Pa suction power at an affordable price.
  • The Robit R3000 has a 120-minute battery life that is well-suited to small and average-sized houses.

Who should NOT buy Robit R3000

  • If you are looking for a robot vacuum that can create a precise map and virtual no-go zones, then the Robit R3000 is not for you. Instead, you should look for robot vacuums that are equipped with a LIDAR navigation system that creates accurate and customizable maps, such as the Roborock S6 series (Roborock S6, Roborock S6 MaxV).

The Robit R3000 is an affordable robot vacuum that is equipped with above-average suction power. It is a great choice for those who have carpets and hard floors because it can automatically adjust the power to suit the floor.

You can operate the Robit R3000 using the remote control that has buttons for the different modes – max, auto, edge, spot, and schedule cleaning - returning the vacuum to its charging base, and manual controls. Auto mode is great for everyday cleaning, while edge mode allows the vacuum to get into the edges and corners of the room, and spot mode focuses on one specific area.

Most robot vacuums are equipped with a 2000 Pa suction, but the Robit R3000 offers 2500 Pa, which is great for deep-cleaning carpets. You can select max mode manually or enable the BoostIQ feature that will automatically increase the suction power when detecting carpets.

The Robit R3000 can run for 120 minutes straight on auto mode, which is enough for an average house. However, enabling max mode will significantly decrease the battery life. When it is time to recharge, the robot vacuum can automatically return to its charging base.

The Robit R3000 follows a systematic cleaning. However, that doesn’t mean that it is equipped with a smart mapping ability that lets it know where it has been. It blindly follows a zigzag pattern, but it is still more efficient than robot vacuums that clean randomly.

One downside of the Robit R3000 is that it doesn’t come with a magnetic strip that can block off the areas you don’t want it to clean. If this is an important feature for you, you can check out the Eufy RoboVac 30C, instead.

Another downside of the Robit R3000 is that its roller brush is prone to hair tangles, so it is not optimal for those who have long hair or furry pets. However, this is a common problem among all robot vacuums in this price range. The more expensive models, like the iRobot Roomba 980, are equipped with a rubberized brush roller that prevents hair from getting tangled up in the bristles.

Overall, the Robit R3000 is a great robot vacuum for those who are on a budget. With its above-average suction power, BoostIQ, and systematic cleaning pattern, it is guaranteed to get the job done nicely.
