Who should buy Proscenic M7 PRO

  • If you are allergic to dust, the self-emptying dust bin of the M7 Pro might satisfy you because it lessens your exposure to dust and allows you to empty the dust bin once every month or even longer, depending on your use.
  • The M7 Pro can increase its suction when detecting carpets, which can come in handy if you have carpets or rugs in your home.
  • The M7 Pro can also seamlessly transition between different floor types. If you have a mix of floor types such as tile, wood, and even low-pile to mid-pile carpets, the M7 Pro might be a solid choice for you.
  • If you have a multi-level house, you might like the M7 Pro because it can save more than one map, unlike other robot vacuums.
  • The M7 Pro is a great choice if you have a pet that sheds heavily in your home because the M7 Pro has a strong suction power of up to 2700 Pa that can thoroughly clean your surfaces, including mid-pile carpets.
  • The M7 Pro is equipped with a smart navigation system and various sensors. If you have a complicated floor plan or have a lot of furniture, the M7 Pro can still navigate thoroughly throughout your house.

Who should NOT buy Proscenic M7 PRO

  • If you are sensitive to noise, you might not like the M7 Pro because it is a bit loud and it can still interrupt conversations even in quiet mode. The self-emptying dust bin can also be extremely noisy when emptying the bin.
  • If you plan to use the mopping function on different surfaces, such as hard floor and carpet, you might be frustrated with the M7 Pro because it doesn't automatically avoid carpets when on mopping mode.

This is our verdict of the Proscenic M7 PRO based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 29-03-2021

The Proscenic M7 Pro provides an array of smart features and powerful specifications for its price. It has a lot to offer, but you should take note that the self-emptying dust bin is bought separately. This is a bit disappointing, but on the bright side, it gives you an option to decide whether the self-emptying dust bin is suitable for you.

The M7 Pro has an above-average suction power of 2700 Pa. With this suction power, it can thoroughly clean your floor, which can come in handy if you have furry pets and active kids. It can also remove hair, fuzz, and crumbs on any floor type exceptionally well.

Additionally, the M7P Pro can also automatically increase its suction power when detecting carpets to provide deeper cleaning to areas that need it the most, unlike the M6 Pro that doesn't have this feature.

Aside from vacuuming, it can also mop efficiently. It has a Y-shaped mopping pattern that can make three passes at an area, unlike other robot vacuums that run a damp cloth over the floor in one pass only. This pattern enables the robot vacuum to efficiently remove tough stains that most robot vacuums can't remove. However, it has a relatively small water tank. If you live in a large house, you might have to refill it in the middle of a cleaning cycle.

You can control the M7 Prio via the remote control, the Proscenic Home app, or with your voice using Amazon Alexa. The app provides the most features so it is best to take advantage of the various options displayed on the app to have a better cleaning experience. The app allows you to set a cleaning schedule, select specific rooms for it to clean, set-up barriers for no-go areas, find the robot vacuum, see the cleaning history, and many more. In short, it allows you to supervise the robot vacuum even if you are not at home and to customize its functions according to your cleaning needs.

The app also allows you to adjust the suction and noise level easily. However, the M7 Pro is pretty loud that even on quiet mode, it can still disrupt conversations.

The M7 Pro utilizes the IPNAS 3.0 system and is covered with 24 sensors allowing the robot vacuum to accurately map the whole floor. This accurate map, visible in the app, will enable you to precisely set virtual barriers in the areas you want to block off. Moreover, the smart navigation system also allows the robot vacuum to plan a better path to take so that it won't get suck and can still clean efficiently.

Overall, the M7 Pro is a solid choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum that supports an array of features and provides an exceptional cleaning performance at a less expensive price than its big brand competitors.
