The Neato Robotics D10 is an expensive robot vacuum, and for good reason. It is equipped with plenty of unique features, including a D-shape, a long brush roll, a large dust bin, and impressive battery life.
Like other Neato robot vacuums, the D10 has the signature D-shape, which has many advantages. Since the front is flat, it can get close to the walls and clean the corners of the room far better than circular vacuums

The D-shape also allows more space for a larger dust bin. Circular vacuums like the Roborock S7, usually have 0.47 liter dust bins, whereas the D10 can hold 0.7 liters of dirt. Having a larger dust bin means that you won’t have to keep emptying it out while cleaning.

The max mode is great for those who have high-pile carpets, and furry pets who shed a lot. It can easily deep-clean carpets, and pick up pet hairs on any type of floor.

The Neato Robotics D10 uses the smart LIDAR navigation system, which allows it to create an accurate map of the territory. The map lets it know which areas it has, and has not vacuumed, so that it can clean more effectively. You can see and customize the map in the app, where you can set virtual boundaries and no-go zones. You can also indicate specific areas in a room that you want the D10 to clean or avoid.
However, compared to its competitors in this price range, its app has fewer features. For example, the Roborock S6 MaxV, allows you to create virtual lines instead of zones, and select specific rooms to clean instead of areas. The Roborock S6 MaxV’s also allows you to create diagonal lines in a room, unlike the no-go zones, which only allow you to draw squares.

Overall, the Neato Robotics D10 is an excellent choice for those who live in large and spacious houses, as well as those who have furry pets and many carpets in their homes. It is one of the more expensive robot vacuums on the market, but it is a worthwhile investment.
