The auto-empty base is useful for those who don’t have enough time to regularly empty the dust bin, as well as for those who have dust allergies. It will not expose you to dirt and dust particles because they will be sent directly to the dust bag, which is the only thing you will have to remove.
However, a minor inconvenience of the auto-empty base is that it is extremely loud when it empties the dust bin. Another disadvantage is that the opening on the auto-empty base is fairly small, and clumps of dirt might get stuck and require you to remove them manually.
The Neabot NoMo N2 is has a strong suction power of 2700 Pa that can easily pick up all kinds of dirt particles, on any type of floor. It maps the entire area on its first run, so that during future cycles it will know where it is and where it has and hasn’t cleaned yet. Unlike other robot vacuums, it has no problem finding its way back to its docking station.
