Who should buy ILIFE A10

  • The ILIFE A10 can save up to three maps, making it an excellent choice for those who live in multi-level houses.
  • If you need a robot vacuum that you can easily control in various ways, the ILIFE A10 may be for you. Not only does it have an app, but you can also operate it with a remote control that doesn't require a Wi-Fi connection.
  • The ILIFE A10 has a large 0.35L water tank that allows it to mop for a long time without requiring a refill. This feature makes it highly convenient for busy people.

Who should NOT buy ILIFE A10

  • If you are on a tight budget, you may want to look for more affordable robot vacuums that lack some of the advanced features of the ILIFE A10, but still offer great results. Some good alternatives would be the Roborock E5, and the Dreame F9 Mistral.
  • The ILIFE A10 has a battery life of 120 minutes, which might not be enough for those who live in large houses. Instead, you could check out the Roborock S6 Pure, which has a battery life of 180 minutes, or the Ecovacs Deebot OZMO 950 with 200 minutes.

Verdict

The ILIFE A10 is a quality robot vacuum and mop, equipped with some advanced features that make it worth its expensive price.
It has a suction power of up to 2000 Pa, which is enough to vacuum small crumbs and specks of dirt on any type of floor. However, unlike the Roborock S5 Max, the ILIFE A10 cannot automatically increase suction power on carpets and messier areas.

The mopping function of the ILIFE A10 is outstanding thanks to its large water tank, and vibrating mopping plate. The water tank has a capacity of 0.35L, which means that you won’t have to refill it while cleaning. The mopping plate emits many vibrations to effectively scrub light stains on the floor. However, it cannot vacuum and mop at the same time, so it would require two cleaning cycles to get the job done. Other robot vacuums, like the Eufy RoboVac G10 Hybrid, help save time by doing both simultaneously.

The ILIFE A10 is equipped with a smart navigation system, and accurate mapping ability that lets it know where it has and hasn’t cleaned yet. The robot vacuum creates a map and automatically divides the individual rooms on its first run. You can find the map in the app, where you can also customize it according to your liking. You can name the rooms, set a cleaning schedule for each room, and create virtual boundaries, such as "no-go" zones and "no-mop" zones. The vacuum can save up to three maps so you can use it on every floor.

Other than the app, you can also control the ILIFE A10 with the remote control that is included in the box, or with voice integrations such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Another nice feature of the ILIFE A10 is that its two side brushes have an adjustable speed. One of the common problems with robot vacuums is that the side brushes scatter light dirt because they spin too fast. However, the ILIFE A10’s app allows you to slow down the speed of the side brush, so that it can direct the dirt into the vacuum opening instead of scattering it away.

A minor inconvenience of the ILIFE A10 is that its battery only lasts up to 120 minutes. It is more than enough for an average house, but those who live in large houses may prefer the Roborock S6 Pure that can continuously clean for 180 minutes, and the Ecovacs Deebot OZMO 950 that has a battery life of 200 minutes. Fortunately, the A10 will automatically return to its charging base when the battery begins to run out.

Overall, the ILIFE A10 is an excellent robot vacuum, whose many advanced features make it a worthwhile purchase.
