Eufy RoboVac X8

The Eufy RoboVac X8 is an impressive robot vacuum that comes packed with various smart features, like Twin-Turbine Technology, UltraPack Dust-Compression, and a laser navigation system.

The Twin-Turbine Technology is equipped with a 2000 Pa suction power on each turbine, which increases airflow and provides increased suction, allowing the vacuum to pick up any type of dirt, on any type of floor.

The Eufy RoboVac X8 offers 4 suction modes: pure, power, turbo, and max. The pure mode is the lowest setting, but it can last for 180 minutes, and produces only 60 dB of noise; it is perfect for everyday cleaning. The max mode offers the most powerful suction, but has a shorter battery life; it works very well on carpets.

The Eufy RoboVac X8 is also equipped with a BoostIQ feature that automatically increases the suction power on carpets to provide deeper cleaning, and returns back to normal on hard floors. The Eufy RoboVac X8 can pick up hair, crumbs, and other dirt particles that are not visible on the surface of the carpet.

The UltraPack Dust-Compression compresses the dirt in the 0.6 liter dust bin to create even more space. Even though the Eufy RoboVac X8 doesn’t come with a self-emptying station like the Dreametech Z10 Pro, with the UltraPack Dust-Compression feature, you won’t have to frequently empty the dust bin.

The Eufy RoboVac X8 is equipped with a laser navigation system that allows it to map the whole room, and identify the most efficient cleaning paths. It also allows the robot vacuum to know which areas it has, and hasn’t, cleaned. However, the laser turret on top of the robot vacuum might be a minor inconvenience because it increases its height, and prevents it from cleaning under low-lying furniture.

You can control the Eufy RoboVac X8 through the app and voice control. The app allows you to see the map, the vacuum’s cleaning progress, the 4 suction levels, set virtual boundaries, and more. It also lets you to create cleaning schedules, adjust the suction level, and check the battery status. Finally, you can control the vacuum with voice integration features such as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, even when your hands are busy.
The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a mopping attachment like the Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid.
