Eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid

The Eufy company is known for its affordable products that lack some features to equal its low price. However, their image changed as they advanced a lot with the Robovac L70 Hybrid, that supports an array of innovative features. Correspondingly, the price also slightly increased to sustain its smart features, but it has added versatility and efficiency in cleaning compared to its predecessors.

The significant advancement added to the L70 Hybrid is its smart navigation system (iPath Navigation system), that allows the robot vacuum to map the entire floor, and thoroughly clean the whole area with its systematic cleaning pattern. The map created by the L70 Hybrid is displayed in the app, where you can see the blueprint of your entire floor.

With its smart navigation system, the L70 Hybrid can easily locate its docking station. However, if you don't start the robot vacuum in the docking station, it will be confused and have difficulty finding its base.

Having a laser navigation system isn't all fun, the downside of it is the added turret on top. It slightly increases the L70 Hybrid's height, which means it cannot easily traverse underneath furniture, such as beds and couches. However, if the L70 Hybrid's height (4 inches) is lower than the furniture, then there is no problem.

The L70 Hybrid also supports a mopping function that works well on hardwood floors. It features an electronically controlled water tank, wherein you can control the water flow in the app depending on your floor's needs. However, like most robot vacuums, it cannot clean tough stains because it isn't built to apply deep pressure and doesn't mimic a regular mop's motion. So, you still need to bring out your regular stick mop once in a while and use the L70 Hybrid's mop for maintenance to keep your floor shiny and clean.

The L70 Hybrid can be controlled via the app or voice control. The app supports various features that allow you to have more control over the robot vacuum, and easily manipulate the L70 Hybrid according to your liking. The app will enable you to set cleaning schedules, monitor the robot vacuum's live cleaning track, find the robot vacuum, set "no-go" zones, and even select a particular area to clean.

However, the app doesn't allow you to name a specific room on the map. So, since the areas or rooms don't have labels, the robot vacuum map might get confused, especially if you have a complicated floor plan.

Overall, the RoboVac L70 Hybrid is worth the investment, because it makes cleaning easier and requires minimum supervision. It provides a great vacuuming and mopping experience because of the added features that are perfect for day-to-day cleaning.
