The Dreametech Z10 Pro has an expensive price. However, you’ll get a robot vacuum equipped with an auto-empty base, high suction power, a smart navigation system, and a mopping attachment.
The auto-empty base of the Dreametech Z10 Pro automatically empties the dust bin of the robot vacuum, and you can set a schedule for when it will empty it. For instance, you can set it to empty the dust bin after every cleaning session, or after every 2 or 3 cleaning sessions. The auto-empty base has a capacity of 4L, and the dust bag can hold two months’ worth of dirt. This is particularly helpful for those who have dust allergies, and those who don’t have enough time to frequently empty the dust bin. However, you need to constantly buy dust bags if you want to keep on using the auto-empty base.
The Dreametech Z10 Pro is equipped with a strong suction power of up to 4000 Pa. It has a stronger suction power than the more expensive , that only has 1700 Pa of suction power. Since the Dreametech Z10 Pro is equipped with outstanding suction power, it doesn’t have issues with carpets; it can even pick up specks of dirt that are deeply embedded in the carpet.
The Dreametech Z10 Pro is equipped with a LiDAR navigation system so it knows which areas it has, and hasn't already cleaned, so that it can cover all the areas of your room. It can also create a precise map within the app. You can easily customize the created map as the app allows you to create virtual boundaries to block off areas you don’t want the robot vacuum to go to, and you can also create cleaning zones where the robot vacuum will clean a specific area only. It can save up to three maps, so you no longer need to buy a separate robot vacuum for every floor level of your house.
Moreover, it has 3D obstacle detection so it will not bump into objects. Unlike other robot vacuums, the Dreametech Z10 Pro won't push light objects, such as your pet’s empty water bowl, thanks to its obstacle detection. However, a minor inconvenience of this feature is that it is too sensitive, and it sometimes avoids dirt because the Dreametech Z10 Pro identifies the dirt as an obstacle that it must avoid. Thankfully, you can disable the obstacle detection feature in the app. The Roborock S6 MaxV has a more efficient obstacle detection, because it has an AI and it can identify what obstacle it has detected and send it to the app together with the label.
Other than vacuuming, the Dreametech Z10 Pro also has a mopping function. The mop can remove light stains from the floor, and can make your floor look cleaner and shinier. However, the water tank only has a capacity of 0.15L so you might have to refill it frequently if you need it to mop a large area. Moreover, unlike the vacuuming function where it automatically increases suction when detecting carpets, the mopping function doesn’t automatically avoid carpets. Therefore, you must create virtual boundaries on certain areas with carpets, so that the mop will not damage them.
The Dreametech Z10 Pro can run for a maximum of 150 minutes which is the same as the Dreametech D9. With its long battery life, the Dreametech Z10 Pro is suitable for those who live in large houses. If the Dreametech Z10 Pro is not able to finish its cleaning cycle, it will automatically return to its charging dock and after recharging, it will go back to where it left off, so it won’t go over the areas it has already cleaned, hence, saving time.
Overall, the Dreametech Z10 Pro is a great option if money is not a problem for you. It is worth the price because it can thoroughly clean carpets, can auto-empty its dust bin, can create an accurate map, can mop, and can clean for a long time.
