Who should buy Coredy R650

  • If you are on a tight budget, and are looking for a unit that supports a robot vacuum's basic functions at a cheap price, the Coredy R650 might be the one you are looking for.
  • The Coredy R650 is suitable for families with pets, since it has a relatively strong suction power that can take in even small pet hairs. Additionally, it is quiet when working, so your sleeping pets won't be disturbed unless you set it in the maximum suction power; that noticeably increases its noise level.
  • It is also fit for different floor types, because the Coredy R650 supports various cleaning modes that will help you easily adjust to whichever cleaning mode best suits your floor needs.
  • Those with carpets might also be satisfied with the Coredy R650 because it has Boost Intellect Technology, which automatically increases its suction when detecting carpets.

Who should NOT buy Coredy R650

  • If you are looking for a robot vacuum that can clean in a systematic pattern, and supports a laser navigation system, the Coredy R650 might not be the one you are looking for.
  • If you prefer to use an app instead of a remote control when controlling the robot vacuum, the Coredy R650 might not satisfy you because it doesn't support an app.

The Coredy R650 supports the basic functions of a robot vacuum, at an affordable price. It has a good balance of affordability and functionality.

It supports Boost Intellect Technology that enables it to step up among its other competitors. It can automatically increase its suction from 600 Pa to 1,600 Pa when detecting carpets. However, you will also notice the increase of noise level whenever it is on maximum suction power. Nevertheless, the noise is still bearable and not disturbing.

You can set the robot vacuum to different cleaning modes in the remote control, which are the auto, spot, edge, single and manual cleaning. These choices enable you to select or adjust to the mode that best fits your floor needs. The auto cleaning mode is best used for day-to-day cleaning, but since it doesn't have an expensive laser navigation system, it randomly navigates the room when cleaning. Still, it can manage to clean the whole floor leaving very few areas uncleaned. The spot and edge modes are efficient when you want to clean a specific area. For instance, when you spill a cup of coffee grounds, the spot cleaning mode will clean that particular spot only. Meanwhile, the edge cleaning mode only cleans the edges of the room, which is perfect to use after the auto cleaning mode to follow up areas beside the wall where the robot vacuum mostly misses a spot.

The "single" cleaning mode is for nonstop cleaning of a single room for 30 minutes. On the other hand, the manual cleaning mode allows you to control the robot vacuum manually. You can control it via the remote control to go forward, backward, to the left and the right. This feature is helpful since the robot vacuum cleans in a random pattern when in auto mode, and the manual cleaning mode allows you to manipulate the robot vacuum's cleaning route. It is as if you were controlling a toy car; the only difference is that it vacuums the areas it passes by.

The Coredy R650 comes with a magnetic boundary strip to block off areas that you don't want the robot vacuum to clean, such as pet areas or places where delicate items or furniture are displayed.

Unlike other robot vacuums where you can set a cleaning schedule for the whole week, the Coredy R650 can only support cleaning schedule for hours or minutes. So, you cannot set the Coredy R650 to clean every weekend.

Overall, even at a low price, the Coredy R650 can still deliver a quality cleaning performance. It is perfect to use for day-to-day cleaning and is worth buying for that.
