Who should buy Coredy L900X

  • The Coredy L900X has a self-emptying dust bin that is suitable for those who have dust allergies as it decreases their exposure to allergens. It stores the collected dirt in a dust bag that needs to be replaced once in a while.
  • The Coredy L900X might be a great choice for busy people because it is equipped with automated features, such as a self-emptying dust bin and "recharge and resume" feature. These features allow you to set a cleaning schedule as often as you like, and let the robot vacuum do the rest.

Who should NOT buy Coredy L900X

  • The Coredy L900X might not be the best choice for those who have carpets, because its mop does not have a "no mop" zone feature that avoids carpets. The Roborock S7 MaxV Plus might be more suitable for you because it can automatically lift its mopping pad when detecting carpets, to prevent them from getting wet.
  • If you are on a tight budget, you may prefer more affordable robot vacuum cleaners, such as the Xiaomi Mi Mop Pro 2+, and the Dreametech D9, which perform very well, but lack some of the advanced features like the self-emptying dust bin.

Verdict

The Coredy L900X is a robot vacuum and mop that is equipped with many advanced features to make cleaning your house a whole lot easier.
The Coredy L900X has a docking station that also functions as a self-emptying dust bin, and charging station. It automatically empties the robot vacuum’s dust bin after every round of cleaning. With a capacity of 4.3L, it can store up to 60 days’ worth of dirt. Keep in mind that if your house tends to accumulate more dirt, you may have to empty it out more frequently.
Aside from emptying the dust bin after the cleaning cycle, the docking station will also recharge the battery of the robot vacuum. The Coredy L900X has a battery life of 190 minutes, which is enough to vacuum the average house. If you live in a larger home, and the battery runs out before it is finished cleaning, the robot vacuum will automatically return to the docking station to recharge. After that, it will resume cleaning where it left off, instead of restarting the entire cycle. This allows it to get the job done more quickly and efficiently.
The Coredy L900X has a maximum suction power of 2700 Pa, which allows it to effectively vacuum all types of floors. Moreover, it has a carpet boost that allows it to automatically increase suction when detecting carpets. Aside from its efficient vacuum function, the L900X can also mop to leave your floors extra clean. It comes with one reusable washable mopping pad, and ten disposable mopping pads.
However, the Coredy L900X is not the best choice for those who have carpets because it doesn’t have a “no-mop" zone feature that detects and avoids carpets. By comparison, the Roborock S5 Max has a "no-go”, and “no-mop" zone feature that allows you to block off carpets, and other areas that you don’t want the robot vacuum to go. Another downside of the mopping function of the Coredy L900X is that it limits the vacuum's climbing ability when the mopping pad is attached.
This device is equipped with a LIDAR navigation system that allows it to map out your floors, and plan the most efficient route to thoroughly clean them. However, it also increases the height of the robot vacuum because of the laser turret on top, so it might get stuck in some places, and not be able clean under low-lying furniture.
Overall, the Coredy L900X is a bit expensive, but its time-saving automated features make it worth the cost. It will best serve busy people who only have hard floors in their homes.

Coredy L900X vs. Roborock S7+ caret-up caret-down

Pros

More affordable price
Higher suction power (2700 Pa vs. 2500 Pa)

Cons

Doesn't automatically lift its mopping pad
No vibrating mopping pad
Brush is more prone to hair tangles

If you have both carpets and hard floors, the Roborock S7+ might be more suitable for you because it is equipped with the “no mop” zone feature, which avoids your carpets when mopping, and “VibraRise”, which allows it to clean more thoroughly. On the other hand, if you don’t have carpets and are looking for a more affordable robot vacuum that can mop, and has a self-emptying dust bin, then the Coredy L900X might be a better choice.
