Who should buy Bagotte BG800

  • This robot vacuum is for those who have small floor plans because of its short span of battery life. Thus, if you live in an apartment or small house, the battery life is already enough to clean the whole floor in one charge. It is also fit for pet owners because of its strong suction power. Those who want to have a quiet robot vacuum can also consider buying this product because it can navigate quietly. Moreover, if you have a mix of carpet and hard floors, this robot vacuum can also be suitable for you because it has automatic carpet detection where it increases its suction power.

Who should NOT buy Bagotte BG800

  • Considering its short battery life, those with a large house have to think twice about buying this robot vacuum. It is also not recommended for those who have a complicated floor plan or those who have a lot of furniture because it gets stuck easily. Additionally, if you have a lot of areas where you don’t want the robot vacuum to go over and clean, this robot vacuum might not satisfy you because of its limited magnetic strips and the app does not provide no-go zones.

This is our verdict of the Bagotte BG800 based on several hours of research of reviews from both experts and users.
Updated 05-02-2021

Bagotte BG800 can operate quietly while providing an above-average suction power of up to 2200Pa. It has intelligent navigation function which are gyroscopes and optical-tracking that provides efficient navigation and can be seen on real-time mapping in the app. It also has automatic carpet detection that increases its suction power to produce a quality cleaning performance. Its app is also easy to use and provides several features.

However, there are a few issues such as its battery life that can only run for 30-40 minutes on low power and even lower for the max suction opposite of what the product claims which is a runtime of up to 120 minutes on low power. Additionally, after recharging, it doesn’t go back to where it left because it doesn’t save the map data and restarts a new one after cleaning.

The product may have an intelligent navigation system but it gets stuck easily which is why it can only produce its high-quality performance in terms of navigation for those who have minimal layout. It provides real-time mapping on the app but because it is not LIDAR, the map can be quite abstract and roughly presents the floor plan.

It may have a strong suction power but it is not great at edge cleaning and often leaves small chunks of dirt.

Overall, this robot vacuum can be a great deal for those who are tight on budget and have minimal and small floor plans because it is where it can show its utmost quality performance.
